About the Musicians

Lynn Hawkins joined the Cascade Chamber Players in 1998 and continues to serve as violist and agent for the ensemble. She has been playing music for over 50 years. Lynn plays fiddle in the High Country Dance Band, which provides music for Bend Community Contra Dances. She also plays guitar and mandolin and has played in symphonies and bluegrass bands. Lynn is an educator in the public schools. When not playing music, she enjoys hiking and skiing in our local mountains.

Denise Driscoll moved to central Oregon in 2013. She has been playing violin since the age of 9, and is currently a musician with the Central Oregon Symphony. She has performed with Opera Bend, Central Oregon Mastersingers, and in various groups around Bend. Denise has been a member of the Cascade Chamber Players since 2019. When not playing music, you might see her skating with the Lava City Roller Derby league.

Amy Mitchell has played with the Cascade Chamber Players since 2003. She regularly performs with the Central Oregon Symphony and has served on the COSA board of directors since 2020. Amy has recorded album tracks with local artists and appeared as a guest musician on stages across the state. When not playing music, you will likely find her teaching high school students or riding a tandem bicycle with her husband.

Nicole Stavale has been playing the violin for over 30 years. She moved to Central Oregon in 2004 and has been a member of the Central Oregon Symphony since 2006. She has performed with the Rogue Valley Symphony, Opera Bend, and other groups such as the Doc Ryan Trio and Big Zona Burlesque. When not playing music, you can find Nicole practicing Physical Therapy, chasing around her small children, and mountain biking.
